We are in full compliance with Food Hygiene Regulations, registered with both the Irish Department of Agriculture & Food and with the Southern Health Board. We also work closely with relevant bodies, such as the Food Safety Authority of Ireland.
All suppliers to Horgan's operate within an approved supplier panel programme. Suppliers are assessed based on approval status, meeting BRC (British Retail Consortium), EFSIS (European Food Safety Inspection Services) or ISO 9002 standards.
Within the specialist craft group, small food producers participate in quality audits managed by Horgan's Delicatessen Supplies, which take into account general quality and hygiene practises, HACCP, product analysis and full traceability back to raw material sources.
